1st Sister's Quilt

Making quilts for the young children that's family bought one of our houses from us. There's 3 girls and a boy. My friend Jan is making the top for the boy and has provided the yellow for the three girl tops I'm putting together... I have the first girl top completed...

It's quilted!

I think I like it a lot!!! Now to get it onto the longarm....

Tried something new!

I got to quilt a top for a friend of mine and just took it off of the quilting machine. She wanted me to quilt it using a fleece blanket for the backing and not using a batting. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but since I had used Minkee before, I used the same principle of pinning it in and keeping it fairly loose...  Think it turned out great!

Hard Rock Cafe finished!

I'm pleased with this finish... I just need to go back and tighten up some design areas that are pudgy because I was trying to quilt sparingly over them.... But it's bound and for me that feels like a finish!

Latest Flimsy...

Just finished sewing the borders on. I'm liking this...a lot!!!

So enjoyed the process this time and it didn't seem to take as long to construct as either of the other two already completed!...approx. a week and a half...it will probably take close to a week to quilt it and bind the boarders...
