Another Carpenter's Star

So happy my friend loved how this came out as much as I did! Not sure who she made the top for, but grateful she asked me to do the quilting!

And this is just some of the dark blue background areas... I'm working on shifting from one
Design and going into the next on the borders here....

August? Really?

Yepper! And the Dog Days of summer have just about wore me down! If I didn't have a quilting room that is air conditioned, I'd be of all people most miserable! But since I do have said air conditioned sewing/ quilting room, I've been busy quilting! This first pic is the quilt I made from start to finish for my niece's wedding... My first scalloped border!
This was a very sweet baby quilt top that I quilted for a friend...
It turned out cute!
This was a top I quilted for a friend... If you look closely, you can tell I made
Butterflies out of the brown triangles, with antennas on the pink square... She loved it!
And a Christmas quilt top quilted for another friend... I hope you can tell there are
Ornaments quilted on the large white/gold
A cool border on another friend's quilt top...

And a top quilted for our Christmas for kids program at our church...

And a girl one for the same program...
And another boy's one for the same program...
This one's pattern is called barbed wire...
This one is on the machine now... It's a friend's top I'm doing for her...
These are not all I've quilted since my last post, but it's all I've taken pictures of...
Loving my Gammill longarm more everyday...
It's beginning to feel like an extension of my body...
So glad that I'm making this journey of learning to longarm quilt...
One last pic...

The walls are coming up!

The Guest House is actually taking shape! Pa hung Sheetrock on the ceiling and in the bathroom last week and we've painted the Sheetrock and have actually got one wall covered in the siding that I picked! Oh, and I got the two quilt tops ready to quilt for the reunion! Yippee! I'll show you the quilt tops first!
This is a queen size Carpenters Star in Batiks... Easy, but very striking, I think!
This is my take on Missouri Star Quilt Company's Sunny Skies. It a Twin size quilt, and I think the kids will like it...
Next is some eye candy from my yard this week...
Lastly, a timeline of getting the wallboard up in the Guest house!
Woot! Woot!
